NCER Funding for New Education Technology
The Department of Education’s Small Business Innovation Research program, administered by IES, (ED/IES SBIR) has released three (3) Fiscal Year 2023 solicitations: Phase IA, Phase IB, and a Direct to Phase II. These are for protypes of new products or new components as well as those ready to scale.
Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence Best of 2022 - Deadline extended to January 17
This awards program celebrates the educational technology from the last 12 months for Primary, Secondary and Higher Education. Winners featured in a special issue of Tech & Learning. Cost is $625 for a single entry, $595 for 2-4 entries, and $525 for 5+ entries.
2023 SIIA CODiE Awards - Final Entry Deadline January 20
The 2023 CODiE Awards is the only peer-recognized program in both business and education technology industries. There are multiply categories to enter including new categories Best Digital Citizenship and Best Higher Education Humanities Instructional Solution. SIIA members & nonprofit organizations pay $745 and non-members pay $1295. 15% discount for three or more nominations.
WISE Prize for Education - Due January 22
The WISE Prize for Education is open for submissions from applicants anywhere recognizing outstanding contributions to education, and the resolve to develop an idea or grow initiatives. Applicants can be researchers, education practitioners, policy makers, or organization leaders in any education sector. However, there are no self nominations allowed. The winner will receive a $500,000 cash price to contribute to their work in education.
Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards - Due January 27
Business Intelligence Group's Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards are accepting submissions until January 27. This awards program recognizes organizations, products and people who bring AI to life and apply it to solve real problems. The entry fee is $799 and winners will be announced March 11.
The Stevies - Due February 8
The 21st annual American Business Awards (aka The Stevies) are open for submissions for all organizations until February 8. Top business leaders will review submissions in various categories that cover all aspects of business. Cost for entry varies.
2023 Edtech Breakthrough Awards - 2023 program just opened for entries
The Edtech Breakthrough Awards have opened entries for their 2023 program. It is an easy and FREE process to enter. Various categories include College Preparation, e-Learning, and Student Safety. Final entries are due March 17.
CNBC Disruptor 50 List - Early Entry Fee Deadline January 25
CNBC is accepting nominations for their Disruptor 50 list. Privately held and independently owned companies can nominate their founders and CEO's for the list.
Companies must have been founded after January 1, 2008. Entries maybe submitted by company employees, investors, or any communications representatives. The early entry fee of $495 ends on January 25. Cost will then be $695 until their final deadline of February 17. Only one entry per company is allowed.
Learning with Innovative Technology Conference - Call for Presenters Due May 1
Suny Empire State College's 8th annual Learning with Innovative Technology Conference has opened submissions for presenters for their August 8th free virtual conference. The conference is geared towards Higher Education Faculty and Students, K-12 Faculty, Librarians, Technologists and Administrators.
