Pando PR Tips No. 20: Please vote for SXSW sessions. Also Bett, ETD, Supes' Choice, Reimagine Ed, OLC

Friday, August 20, 2021 — SXSW and SXSW Edu - We have several sessions being considered for SXSW and SXSW Edu. 30 percent of the selection criteria is based on public votes so we'd appreciate it if you'd register at SXSW and then vote for any/all of these sessions below (before Aug. 26 when voting closes). EdTechDigest Awards - EdTechDigest awards entries are open now. Create your own category or pick from leadership or cool tools. Regular submissions before Sept. 30 are $249 and $50 more to enter by Oct. 14. Buy your spot now and the entry can be refined until Oct. 14.

Reimagine Education Awards - The Remagine Education awards are accepting entries until October 3. $25,000 in US funding available to both the Global Education Award winner and the Global Edtech Award winner. Bronze, Silver and Gold category winners showcase their work at the 2021 Reimagine Conference, in December so be sure you are willing to go before trying to enter.

Supes' Choice Awards - The inaugural Supes' Choice Awards were announced at ASU+GSV. These are judged exclusively by school superintendents. Entries due October 30.

Bett Awards - Bett Awards has released the "intention" form. Fill this out as a courtesy to Bett so they can guage interest. Find the categories here. Entries will be due Sept. 24.

Online Learning Consortium Innovate Conference 2022 - Call for proposals to speak at OLC Innovate 2022 are open until Sept. 29. Proposals should reflect and showcase theory, research, methodology, or applied effective online, blended, and digital teaching and learning practices.
