EdTech Funding and Fellowships

K-12 AI Infrastructure Funding — Proposal submissions due July 31
A collaborative program led by Digital Promise is funding a grant for AI infrastructure in math education. Three projects will be awarded up to $5.5M ​ to fund the design, development, and validation of open-source K-12 instructional data corpora.

The BES Fellowship — Deadline to apply is June 26
Design, found, and lead a high-quality K-12 public school in your community. The BES Fellowship includes one or two years of training followed by three years of dedicated post-authorization support to ensure that the school starts strong and sustains excellence over time.

FRAME Fellowship — Early deadline to apply is July 10 ​
Frame Fellowship is a San Francisco based 10-week accelerator program for content creators who want to create high-quality, deeply thoughtful video content educating the public about AI and its societal and economic implications. FRAME Fellows are award-winning filmmakers, journalists, and ex-activists who work to educate and empower their communities for the impacts of AGI.

ACTE National Leadership Fellowship Program — 2027 Fellowship applications are open through Sept 15
This program empowers career and technical education (CTE) professionals to grow their leadership skills. The 2027 cohort runs January to December 2027. Fellows receive a $1,500 stipend and complimentary registration for ACTE's CareerTech VISION, and National Policy Seminar.

The Global EdTech Prize — Submissions due June 26
The Global EdTech Prize recognizes ​ trailblazing solutions that are driving change and grappling with the most crucial challenges in today’s classrooms. The application process is open to companies and non-profits of all sizes, from start-ups to global enterprises worldwide, regardless of revenue level.

The ACTE Impact Awards — Deadline for the 2027 cycle is June 30 ​
These awards recognize groups and individuals from the education, business, and industry communities who enhance career and technical education (CTE). While there is no membership eligibility restriction for applicants, individuals, and organizations must be nominated by an ACTE member.

The 22nd Annual Davey Awards — Final Deadline July 31
These awards focus exclusively on honoring outstanding work from small agencies, independent creators and in-house teams.

QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026 — Call for submissions end July 31
With 15 award categories spanning technology, pedagogy, sustainability, skills, and institutional transformation, these awards are looking for projects that move beyond incremental improvement and deliver scalable, lasting impact.

Tech Tactics Conference — Call for speakers closes Aug 3
This conference offers hands-on learning and interactive discussions on the most critical technology issues and practices across K-12 and higher education. It is brought to you by THE Journal and Campus Technology.

National Awards of Distinction Program — Applications open until Sept 11
K-12 Leaders can apply directly or nominate a colleague to be considered for one of four awards: Districts of Distinction, Leaders of Distinction, Women of Distinction and Superintendent of the Year.

New Conference for 2027

Bett USA 2027
Bett ​ is launching its first US-based conference November 8–10, 2027 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. It is backed by 100+ founding educator and industry leaders — including 50+ Launch Partners and 50+ Bett Builders. Bett is a huge event in the UK so don't miss this inaugural US event.
